Jason finished in the top two in the August primary and will face incumbent Strom Peterson on November 3.

In Washington's top two primary on August 4, 2026, Jason earned 44.2% of the vote and advanced to the general election.

Certified Snohomish County results show Jason with 13,379 votes (44.19%) and incumbent Strom Peterson with 16,344 votes (53.99%). Both are Democrats.

Jason narrowed the gap from the 2024 primary, and Korean media in Washington and Korea noted him among five Korean American candidates advancing in the state.

In his words

Jason said people voted for a fresh perspective and for the idea that common sense and fiscal responsibility deserve a voice. He added that underdogs win by grinding, showing up and outworking everyone in sight.
