Standing with small business owners facing a wave of break-ins.
At a meeting called by Korean American grocers, Jason described organized burglaries targeting Asian business owners' homes.

In April 2026, the Korean American Grocers Association of Washington brought federal and state officials together to address violent crime, rising insurance costs and new SBA loan restrictions. Jason joined as Mukilteo Council President.
What he's seeing
Jason warned that organized crime rings are using GPS trackers and cameras to target the homes of Asian business owners in Bellevue, Kenmore, Kent, Mukilteo and Bellingham.
He said Mukilteo alone had six break-ins in four months, with suspects using tactics such as approaching through a golf course, and that homemade trackers are getting harder to spot during free vehicle inspections.
Why it matters
Small business owners are the backbone of the 21st District. Jason has made public safety, including more prosecutors and better crime lab capacity, a core part of his campaign.
