How UW Bothell's MBA helped Jason redefine success.
UW Bothell profiled Jason's path from corporate roles to clean tech and civic leadership.
UW Bothell's School of Business featured Jason, MBA '24, in a profile about rethinking what success can look like.
A broader vision
Jason entered the MBA program while working at Amazon and Microsoft and raising two sons. Coursework, mentors and his cohort pushed him to connect his values with his professional strengths.
A sustainable business course showed him that sustainability is about people and systems, not only the environment.
Clean tech and city work
After a layoff from Microsoft, Jason joined clean tech startup Zeolite Composites full time in 2024, where he is a partner leading strategic communications. He helped pilot methods with Mukilteo's stormwater team that reduce processing times and environmental risk.
His message to students: you don't have to follow one formula.
